Charcuterie and Wood Products:
Our charcuterie and Mon Chien product lines are made from high-quality Canadian walnut and cherry wood. All wood products are treated with a food-grade mineral oil before and after engraving. If you want a different product treatment, please inform us when ordering; note that this may delay delivery.
The images displayed on our website may not capture every unique grain and detail of the wood. Each piece is crafted from natural materials, resulting in variations that add to its character and charm. We encourage you to appreciate the individuality of the product, as it may appear different from what is shown online. Due to differing computer monitor resolutions, products may not visually illustrate the true colour of the physical product. Thank you for understanding!
Nonslip rubber feet can be installed on charcuterie boards for added protection. If you do not wish rubber feet on your product, please let us know upon ordering.
Wood boards should be oiled every 3 months to protect the surface. We use premium grade wood board oil. This oil exceeds NHS and FDA certification for direct and indirect food contact, and is Non-GMS Allergen Free! It is 100% food-safe mineral oil made in Canada.
Slate Products:
Slate products vary in texture and colouring and are finished on the engraved side with a gloss or satin sealant (customer's choice). Nonslip feet are provided on all slate products for added protection.
Round Mirrored Coasters:
Mirrored coasters have a nonslip cork backing for added protection.
Cleaning Instructions for all products:
Clean all surfaces thoroughly after use. Products are NOT dishwasher safe, wash by hand and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive brushes, harsh chemical cleaning products or heat on wood or slate surfaces, as it will leave heat marks and degrade the finish. To clean painted surfaces, use a dry, soft cloth. Do not submerge any products in water.
